MFQHA Membership Information
  • Section 1
    Membership shall be open to any person interested in the purpose of this organization who is not currently under suspension by any official equine organization.
  • Section 2
    All memberships shall run concurrent with the defined calendar year. Fees shall not be prorated. Youth (under 18 years of age) seeking membership must have the consent of their parent or legal adult guardian.
  • Section 3
    Individual membership fee is $20.00. Family membership fee is $45.00. Amateurs competing at the amateur level must also purchase an amateur card for $10.00. Novice competing at the novice level must also purchase an amateur card for $10.00. Youth memberships (under 19 years of age) are $10.00
  • Section 4
    Members over the age of 18 years may vote in association business.
  • Section 5
    Any member may be censured, suspended, or expelled for cause by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
  • Section 6
    A current membership list will be maintained by the association and will be used only for MFQHA business. This list will not be made available to mass marketing/advertising agencies unless approved in writing by the individual member. The association directory will constitute a privately held database and will contain the names of all members unless a request is made in writing by any member to be excluded from the directory.

MFQHA Horse Eligibility
  • Owner must submit photocopies of the AQHA Registration Certificate
  • Pedigree extensions that includes complete AQHA records pedigree research on each line that extends to either an AQHA number lower than 27,000, a registered Thoroughbred (TB) or Appendix (A) or an unknown horse (“u” number). MFQHA can provide the AQHA records pedigree extensions research for a $20.00 Fee
  • Foundation Certification or verification of pending status, with any other Foundation Quarter Horse Registry/Association.
  • If horse is of Impressive lineage, owner must submit proof of HYPP N/N status with the Horse Application form.
